Watford have snapped up Swansea City striker Craig Beattie.

Beattie has joined Watford on-loan until January 8.

The 27-year-old started his career at Celtic before joining West Brom for an initial free of £1.25million in 2007.

Loan spells at Preston, Crystal Palace and Sheffield United followed before Beattie moved to the Liberty Stadium as a replacement for the Wigan-bound Jason Scotland.
