On-loan Watford striker Matej Vydra has been named the Championship Player of the Year.

The 20-year old Czech Republic striker, who is on a season-long loan from Udinese, has netted 20 goals for the Hornets so far this campaign which prompted him to be voted as the top player in England's second division for season 2012/13.
