Watford are believed to have rejected a transfer request from Darius Henderson, who is angry the Hornets snubbed a bid for him from Fulham.

Henderson handed in the request on Wednesday after Watford boss Adrian Boothroyd blocked a potential move to the Cottagers.

The bid is believed to be in the region of £1.5million, but Watford have rebuffed Fulham's overtures as they are keen to keep hold of Henderson.
