Watford boss Marco Silva has insisted that his players must communicate in English.
The Hornets experienced a torrid dip in form last season under Walter Mazzarri, which happened partly due to the broken english blurted out by the Italian manager.
There are 20 different nations represented at Vicarage Road and to negate the problem of communication, Silva has demanded his players speak English.
"Will the players be speaking only in English? Yes," Silva said.
"The main language is English. I've come here to speak English. Normally I talk in front of everyone in English. Sometimes I need to speak to Spanish players a bit in Spanish but that is not perfect."
"It's important to sign English players. If you can find solutions, they know Premier League and English football it is better.
"We look at the English players, players that look at the competition and then try to sign the players. It is not easy to find good solutions. With our budget it is not easy."
