Watford are chasing Lille winger Sofiane Boufal.

The Mirror says Watford are trying to steal a march on their rivals for Boufal.

Representatives of the £18m-rated Moroccan attacking midfielder have held talks with the Hornets, which are understood to have taken place at their pre-season base in Austria.

Boufal, 22, is on a host of clubs' radars including Chelsea, Tottenham, Juventus and Lyon but Watford are hoping to force their way to the front of the queue.
