Nordin Amrabat has rejected a return to Watford this month.
Marca says Amrabat was loaned to Spanish side Leganes on September 1 without then-head coach Marco Silva's knowledge.
And he's revealed that he snubbed the request from the club, despite his connections with new boss Javi Gracia.
Amrabat played under the Spaniard for 18 months at Malaga, which co-incided with some of the best form of his career.
Meanwhile, reports in Turkey suggest Jose Holebas is closing in on a move to Galatasaray and it could be confirmed before the weekend.
It is thought that there will be an option to buy for Galatasaray at the end of the season, and they will pay a fee for the loan too.
