Watford star Abdoulaye Doucoure is hopeful that the Hornets can finish in the top-half of the Premier League table this season.

Watford have made a stunning start to their Premier League campaign so far, claiming eight points from their first four matches of the season and following such impressive performances, Doucoure thinks that the Hornets can finish in the top half of the table during the current campaign.

He said: "We're very happy with our start. It's impressive, but we have to keep going like this. The manager said before we have to fight for every ball, and that's what we have done.

"The mentality has changed a bit, but the players have changed a bit too. The manager is very honest and fair, and it's good for everyone to play at the moment.

"Marco is a very good guy. He has brought a good spirit to the team and has pushed us to play at the top. There's no big difference specifically, but he has put the fighting spirit into us, and brought in good competition.

"We have to stay in the Premier League first, but the top 10 is a possibility. We're taking it game by game though, and it's too early to really talk."
