Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores has revealed that he is open to allowing Odion Ighalo to participate in the 2016 summer Olympic Games in Brazil
It has been suggested that Nigeria are hopeful of including Igahlo to fill one of the over-23 spots in their squad for the upcoming Olympic football tournament in Rio de Janeiro.
If included, Ighalo's pre-season preparations with Watford could be disrupted and while most managers are not a big fan of the idea of their players participating in the Olympics, Hornets boss Flores is open to allowing his star man to represent the Super Eagles.
Flores said: "It depends on the players also. Some players want to go to the Olympic games, other players prefer to rest.
"It depends, but finally if the decision of the player is that he wants to go, I am happy."
