Watford striker Jerome Sinclair says that joining Sunderland on loan was a "no brainer".
Sinclair will spend the 2018-2019 campaign on loan at the League One side, after failing to get much first team gametime at Watford.
Despite Sunderland's recent turmoil, Sinclair sees them as a huge club who can rise up this season.
"When I got the opportunity to play for a club like this, you can see it is a top, top club. Sunderland is a Premier League club," he told the Sunderland Echo.
"For me to come here and play and get a lot of game time is something that I really needed and if I can help get this team back to where it is supposed to be, then it will be a big bonus.
"A week-and-a-half ago my agent and Watford came to me and said there was an opportunity to come to Sunderland, I jumped at the chance.
"I know I need to play games this season and it was a no-brainer to sign."
