Birmingham defender Matt Sadler has ended his long association with the club to join Watford in a deal that could eventually be worth up to £900,000.Championship side for an initial fee of £750,000 and has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with The Hornets.

Sadler, 22, has played just seven times for Blues this season and saw manager Alex McLeish sign full back David Murphy from Hibernian in another blow to his first team ambitions.
