Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes apologised to fans for defeat to Burnley.

Gomes admits they just "didn't show up" for the 2-0 loss.

"We just didn't show up," he told the Watford Observer. "Of course Burnley deserve credit for the win. We just didn't show up and play the way we played the last few games.

"The only thing that I can say is to apologise to the fans that came all the way from Watford to support us and they didn't deserve to see the way we played today."
