Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has hit out at Tottenham fir the treatment he received during his time at the club.
The Brazilian joined Spurs from PSV Eindhoven in 2008 before leaving for the Hornets last summer and throughout his time at White Hart Lane, saw a number of players, including himself given hardly any opportunity.
"It's the club (who are to blame). Certainly, I would not recommend to anyone (to join Spurs)," Gomes told ESPN.
"They paid £28million for (Roberto) Soldado, and they don't play him. Or look (at) (Erik) Lamela, who was a great (prospect) in Europe, but today you watch Tottenham games and he looks like he can't play football at all."
