Watford keen to make loan deal of Chelsea defender Ake less temporary

Watford are hopeful of turning the loan deal of Nathan Ake into a permanent one, according to reports from the Daily Mirror.

Ake joined Watford from Chelsea on a season-long spell in the summer and the Dutch defender has managed to impress during his time at Vicarage Road.

It has been claimed that the Hornets are keen on securing the services of Ake on a permanent basis at the end of the season and if Chelsea are unwilling to sell, the Hertfordshire outfit are hopeful of another loan agreement next season.

The 21-year-old has made 20 Premier League appearances for Quique Sanchez Flores's side so far this term.
