Watford are believed to be showing considerable interest in QPR midfielder Samba Diakite.
The Hornets are looking to take the 24-year old French-born Mali international on loan for the remainder of the season with the option of a permanent deal.
Diakite, who initially joined the R's on loan from Nancy in January 2012, is yet to feature in the Championship for the west London club this season after making 14 Premier League appearances last term.
