Watford are eyeing AS Roma striker Seydou Doumbia.
Gazzetta.it says Watford asked after Doumbia during negotiations for Roma fullback Jose Holebas.
The Giallorossi are willing to do business, informing Watford they can take Doumbia on a season-long loan with a mandatory permanent option.
If Watford agree to terms, they would have to cough up €13.5 million in 12 months' time to complete the deal.
For now, Watford are pushing for the 'mandatory' clause to be removed.
