Watford hope to price Troy Deeney out of a move to the Premier League this month.
The Daily Mail says Watford have slapped a £14million price tag on Deeney amid interest from West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City.
The Championship side want Deeney to spearhead their push for promotion and will ask a premium for the 26-year-old who has scored nine goals this season.
They believe the valuation is fair when compared with the £11m Fulham paid Leeds United for Ross McCormack in the summer.
Albion and Swansea both want new strikers and have Deeney on their lists but have yet to make an official enquiry for the powerful former Aston Villa trainee.
