Watford remain keen on Napoli attacker Allan.

The Watford Observer says Watford are still on the hunt for Allan, according to reports in Italy, but it is understood the player is still unlikely to entertain a move to Hertfordshire.

The Hornets were linked with the Brazilian late last week, when his agent Claudio Vagheggi revealed their interest to the Italian press.

But despite assurances the 26-year-old was happy in Naples, reports on the continent continue to suggest Watford are looking to bring him to Vicarage Road.

Sources also say he would likely view a move to Watford as too much of a step down in his career.
