Watford are eyeing Udinese defender Molla Wague.

The Daily Mail says Watford have held discussions about taking Wague from sister club Udinese at the end of the window.

The Mali international is due to link up with his country for the Africa Cup of Nations but could join Watford on loan once that is over.

The 25-year-old French-born centre-back has made six appearances this season and can also fill in at right-back.
