Watford are understood to be in negotiations with Tottenham midfielder Benjamin Stambouli.

The Daily Mail is reporting the Hornets have tabled a £10million offer for the Frenchman who made just 12 Premier League appearances for Spurs last season after joining from French club Montpellier last summer. Should a deal be completed, Stambouli will become the second Tottenham player to leave White Hart Lane for Vicarage Road this week, after Watford signed Etienne Capoue £6m on Monday.
