Watford defender Sebastian Prodl has urged young English players to move abroad.

Prodl suggested English players could benefit with a similar type of education abroad.

He told the Daily Mail: "I think young English players could benefit from moving abroad, although you also have a lot of good clubs in England. The gap between the smaller teams and the top is less than in Germany, for example.

"But obviously, if you move abroad you get different ideas and experiences. When I played in Germany, when I played in England, when I had a Spanish, coach, an Italian coach, a Portuguese coach, they gave me different ideas."
