Watford defender Briggs wants Fulham future

Watford defender Matthew Briggs sees his future at parent club Fulham.

Briggs is ready to return after today's Wembley date with Crystal Palace.

"I'm aiming to come back here with the aim of cementing a place in the starting line-up," Briggs told fulhamfc.com. "I've definitely gained experience from this spell. I've learnt to play in two new positions, playing as one of three centre-backs and then playing at left wing-back. So I've got two more positions in my locker now.

"I've been looking out for Fulham's results and they got a great win at Swansea City at the weekend. I was happy to see Alex [Ka?anikli?] on the scoresheet. It's been an up-and-down season but to finish 12th place wasn't too bad."
