Watford defender Adrian Mariappa has taken aim at former club Crystal Palace.
He left the Eagles last summer to rejoin his old club Watford on a free transfer, having spent three years in south London, making 39 appearances in the Premier League for Palace.
"It was a strange year and a frustrating year," he told the Watford matchday programme.
"I'd just come off the back of playing two big competitions in Jamaica – the Copa America and the Gold Cup – and when I came back to the club I wasn't as involved as I thought I should have been.
"They weren't willing to let me go anywhere, but it's not in my nature to come in and have a bad attitude.
"My reaction is always just to train the best I can, which allowed me to be ready for the games when I did have the opportunity to come on, like I did in the FA Cup final."
