Watford captain Troy Deeney insists they can be proud of their season.

Deeney insisted Watford have exceeded expectations in their first season back in the Premier League.

"We're on 44 points now with three games left and we got to an FA Cup semi-final. We would've chewed somebody's arms and feet off for that," he said.

"We appreciate the fans can get frustrated but let's just enjoy it, because in Watford's history in the Premier League we've never stayed up, so we've beaten all the records."
