Watford captain Troy Deeney is up for their trip to Aston Villa.

As a troubled teenager, Deeney failed to turn up for the final day of a trial spell at Aston Villa to go drinking with his mates.

The reformed Watford striker will on Saturday head to the rock-bottom Midlands club for the first time in his career.

He told the Mirror: “It's a great stadium and they are a big club. My granddad was a die-hard Villa fan. But I would love to score there.

“To do that in front of the Holte End, with thousands swearing at me will be lovely."
