Troy Deeney will miss Watford's pre-season training camp in Austria as he continues to recover from injury.

The 29-year old has undergone minor groin surgery and will remain in the UK for rehabilitation.

Deeney, who scored 10 goals for the Hornets last season, is being linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion.

The club captain is the only noticeable absentee from the 31-man squad, with new signings Will Hughes and Nathaniel Chalobah joining their new teammates.
