Watford skipper Troy Deeney has sympathy for crocked Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.
Wilson should have been lining up against Watford today but instead the Cherries hitman's season looks over following a serious knee injury.
He told the Daily Star: "I've met Callum a few times and he's a nice guy. He's a good kid - he's from Coventry, not too far from me, so we've got that Midlands banter.
"I've texted him previously and I wished him all the best. He started the season on fire and could have been in with an England shot, if not for this international then the next one.
"I wished him well because it could happen to any of us. You've got to have a bit of common sense to realise that.
"I think he's got a young family and he's young himself, only 23. I thought I'd drop him a tweet and let him know football is thinking about him.
"He's out for months now, missing what he wants to do and that's the thing that puts it all into perspective."
