Watford boss Gianfranco Zola wants to keep hold of striker Matej Vydra.
On-loan from Udinese, Vydra has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham.
"I think he is keen to stay," said Zola.
"He likes what he is doing over here and it is good for his development. I knew he had potential but what he has done this year is incredible.
"Since he came to the club he has shown very good qualities. He was on the bench for a while but he stayed patient and as soon as he got the opportunity he started to score goals and he has not stopped. He deserves it and I am pleased and proud to collect the award on his behalf."
