Watford boss Walter Mazzarri is convinced they can improve on last season.

Mazzarri has set a target of improving on last term's 45-point total.

He said: “To be sure and to be safe it will be very similar to last year. I'm trying to put in my players' heads we need to look at it game by game.

“We will see at the end of the year. But this year we are creating a base to make a much better season for another year.

“At the beginning of the season I was asked to keep the team in the Premier League. We have done very well so far this season."
