Watford boss Walter Mazzarri was angry with his players after defeat at Hull City.

A straight red card for Hull's Oumar Niasse looked to have turned the tide in Watford's favour, but they failed to make their numerical advantage count as the hosts ran out comfortable 2-0 winners.

“We made silly mistakes and it was one of those games where if we didn't win, we should have at least drawn and that makes me really angry," Mazzarri said.

“We need to improve up front and we should have at least scored one or two goals. When you make so many mistakes, I knew the first counter attack we would pay for it."
