Watford boss Silva 'will do everything' to keep Carrillo

Watford manager Marco Silva has admitted that he would like to keep hold of on-loan winger Andre Carrillo on a permanent basis.

Carrillo has done relatively well since joining Watford on loan from Benfica over the summer and now Hornets boss Marco Silva has gone on to already admit that he wants to keep the 26-year-old Peruvian at Vicarage Road on a permanent basis.

He said: "When he came here, he had a fantastic impact in our team, and in the Premier League – a lot of players and clubs don't know him.

"We'll see [if he can stay]. He's not our player, but I'm sure we will do everything we can to keep him. He needs to prove himself until the end of the season, and then we'll see what will happen."
