Watford manager Marco Silva has hinted Dutch winger Steven Berghuis will be leaving the club.
The 25-year-old spent last season on loan with Feyenoord and helped them win the league title. He has expressed his desire to continue his stay with the Eredivisie side. According to reports, he is expected to complete a permanent €7million move in the coming days.
Silva said: "It's not only about Steven, but it's important for everyone to understand. We want the best players in our squad, and when we talk about Steven it's clear to see his quality.
"It's important for us to keep the players in the squad who want to be in the squad. That's not about Steven, that's about everyone. For us to fight and be a team, we have to stay together, and go to war together.
"If the players want to stay, then they are in the squad. But we will see what happens."
