Watford boss Silva assures Hughes he's happy with him

Watford boss Marco Silva insists he's happy with the progress of Will Hughes.

The former Derby County star made his Premier League debut in defeat to Stoke City last weekend.

Silva is happy with his progress and says, despite his lack of football, Hughes is enjoying his time at Watford so far.

"Will improves every day. He's a player I said a few weeks ago I'm happy with him." Silva explained.

"He improves and enjoys being here and tries to get in the squad every day. If you have everyone fit, it's hard to get in the squad, with Pereyra and [Nathaniel] Chalobah.

"But I'm happy with his behaviour and his work and if I decide he's ready; he's ready."
