Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores says Mario Suarez will be better for the run in defeat to Tottenham.
The Spaniard, who joined the Golden Boys in January from Fiorentina, was handed his full Hornets debut against Spurs this afternoon but played just 45 minutes before being replaced by Valon Behrami at half time.
“It was a tough match and the conditions of the game was very difficult," Sanchez Flores said when asked about Suarez after Watford's 1-0 defeat at White Hart Lane.
“He tried to block his area and play passing football. I think he needs to learn the pace of the game in England because he was surprised a few times when he tried to play. He needs to think a bit quicker.
“But I am happy. He is a very good player and top players can adapt very quickly to a new league."
