Watford boss Walter Mazzarri is delighted with the progress of Isaac Success.
The Nigeria striker, a £12.5million buy from Granada in the summer, has yet to start a Premier League game but his cameos from the bench have promised much.
Mazzarri said: “I look at how the players are on the training pitch and also look at what condition they are in mentally.
“Success is doing what I tell him to do, especially in terms of his defending. He is improving a lot in that department but I always decide at the last minute and I will make a decision about him on the morning of the game.
“He has never done anything extremely wrong but I have spoken with him many times and he understands that he has to be professional and arrive on time.
He has improved massively on these particular things and I am happy with him and he is proving a professional player."
