Watford boss Marco Silva targets Sporting CP keeper Rui Patricio

Watford boss Marco Silva is eyeing a new goalkeeper signing.

The Daily Star says Silva is planning a raid on his old club Sporting Lisbon in the hope of a summer reunion with Patricio.

Silva is eyeing a new No.1 to battle with Heurelho Gomes with Patricio, 29, among his chief targets.

Watford have sent scouts to run the rule over the 61-times capped stopper at the Confederations Cup.

But the Hornets have drawn up a list of options with Juventus' keeper Neto also under consideration.
