Watford boss Malky Mackay admits he'd like to sign a player similar to Manchester United winger Tom Cleverley.
Watford signed Manchester United youngster Cleverley on loan last season and the 20-year-old scored 11 goals in 33 league appearances for the club.
Mackay does not have money to spend in the market this summer but is hoping to land someone of Cleverley's potential once more.
"The financial constraints at the club are still pretty tight, so I can't afford an experienced Championship player with 200 games under his belt," he said in The People.
"I am talking to a number of Premier League clubs. There are not a lot of guys of Cleverley's calibre, but we hope to get some good players in who we can develop."
