Watford boss Adie Boothroyd hopes to have sold striker Marlon King by the weekend.
King was left out of the 1-1 draw with Charlton last weekend as he continued talks with Premier League strugglers Fulham over a £5million move and despite the transfer still to go through is likely to miss out again.
Two other unnamed Premier League clubs have since made an approach for the 11-goal striker and Boothroyd admitted on Wednesday that: "I am hoping the situation will be resolved by the end of this week. Whether Marlon plays for Watford, Fulham or the other two on Saturday I can't tell you."
