Watford boss Flores: We will operate in English

Quique Flores has warned his new Watford players that the team will only be speaking in English.

Spanish tactician Flores took over at Watford this summer and is keen to keep an English identity at the club.

Despite signing 9 new players from all around the world, Flores insists the squad be communicating exclusively in English.

Flores said: "The team will be in English of course. If any players don´t know English they will have to learn. Just like our new players this is all new to me."

However, the Spaniard confirmed that he is looking forward to the challenge of binding his new squad together saying: "It´s exciting and we have to build something solid and look to improve as a club next year. We don´t just stay in the Premier League."

The Hornets have added Steven Berghuis (Dutch), Jose Jurado (Spanish), Miguel Britos (Uruguayan), Allan Nyom (Cameroon), Valon Behrami (Swiss), Etienne Capoue (French), Matej Vydra (Czech), Giedrus Arlauskis (Lithuanian) and Sebastian Prodl (Austrian) this summer.
