Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores has heaped praise on influential and experienced goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes.

Even though he only joined the club in 2014, the former Tottenham gloveman is one of the Hornets' longest serving players and provides great leadership in the dressing room and on the pitch according to his manager.

"He is very influential and has a high influence on the rest of dressing room," Flores said.

"I like to spend lot of time with these experienced players, they know perfectly what happened, what is the atmosphere.

"I try to talk much with this player. The performance of this player is amazing."
