West Ham United full-back Arthur Masuaku scored his first goal for his club in a spectacular manner in the 3-0 League Cup win over Bolton on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old scored a 25-yard screamer in the last minutes of the win at London Stadium. Following the game, he expressed his delight at his wonder-strike in the game. “It's a great goal," Masuaku told the club's website. “It's a long time since I last scored. The last time was two years ago at Olympiacos. That day I recovered the ball and dribbled and completed a one-two.
“This one was different but I'm very happy with it. I was in the middle and in a good position to shoot. I didn't think about it. As soon as I saw I had the space I had the shot and I'm thrilled it went in."
