Liverpool players enjoyed winding up Roberto Firmino due to his new 'look' at training yesterday.
Firmino was all smiles as he took part in training at the club's Melwood HQ on Thursday, as he tried out his new glasses designed to protect his injured eye.
Firmino suffered an abrasion to his eye in an accidental clash with Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen at Wembley last weekend and while he scored the winner for Liverpool in their dramatic victory against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday night, there are still concerns over the condition of his eye.
That has inspired Liverpool's medical staff to give the Brazilian specially customised glasses to use in training this week, as he aims to be fit and ready to start for the Reds against Southampton at Anfield on Saturday.
