Gervinho was delighted with his wonder goal for Parma in their 2-0 win against Cagliari on Saturday.

The former Arsenal attacker ran the full length of the pitch with the ball to hit one of the early goals of the season.

Gervinho told Sky Italia: "No, maybe it's not my best goal. I'm happy to be here and to be back in Italy to play again in Serie A. I'm fine in Parma, and I was very well received by the fans.

"Right now I do not remember (my best goal), I have made many ... but what matters is the victory, for us it is very important and we must continue in this way to reach our goal.

"No, I do not feel like a star man, we are all a team, and to reach the goal we need everyone."
