Cesc Fabregas received a straight red card in Chelsea's 1-0 win over Liverpool in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday.

The Spanish midfielder produced a shocking tackle on Reds signing Ragnar Klavan as the Blues edged their Premier League rivals at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

With around 20 minutes remaining, Fabregas's dangerous challenge was quickly dealt with by the referee as Estonian defender Klavan remained on the ground, clutching his foot.
