Arsenal captain Per Mertesacker thanked fans for their support after playing his last home game for the club on Sunday.
The German was a late substitute for the 5-0 win over Burnley.
After the match, Mertesacker was given a guard of honour before being handed a memento to mark his service to the club.
He later took to Twitter to show his gratitude.
The former Germany international, who won the World Cup in 2014, wrote: "Thank you everyone for making this such a special day!"
