QPR boss Neil Warnock admits his defence needs improving after their 3-2 defeat to Sunderland.
Warnock hinted that defenders will be top of his wanted list in the January transfer window, although QPR still look short of quality in front of goal.
"If you are beaten by a better side or by a fantastic goal you put your hand up," Warnock said. "I think we were the better side. We showed some real guts and determination tonight.
"Every goal was really disappointing. To concede a second goal like that could not have been any worse.
"I can't believe we lost that game. The fans trust me and they know I will sort it out. It won't need much sorting.
"We will be looking to improve the squad in January. I know what I need and I will go and get them."
