Neil Warnock has denied talk of a return to Crystal Palace.
Palace boss Ian Holloway is under pressure after a poor start to the season.
Warnock told the London Evening Standard: "The links with me and Palace are just speculation and not fair on Ian. Taking them up last season was a fantastic achievement and certain people are being a bit naughty by doing that.
"I don't think he's under pressure. It's a personal thing when you're at the bottom of the League, you don't want to be there as a manager - it's a bit of a dent to your ego. He's doing the best he can to get results but it's always hard when you've come up from the play-offs because you're a month behind everyone else.
"They wouldn't have expected to come up and not have done much planning. For them to stay up, it will probably be the greatest achievement ever by any manager."
