Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce has heaped praise on midfielder Stephen Warnock.

The former Liverpool man has been so important for the Rovers recently and after his brilliant performance in the vital win over Fulham, Allardyce lauded the form of the 27-year old since moving back into the midfield.

"Stephen Warnock was very unlucky hitting the post. He has been a revelation since we moved him into midfield and continued that today," said Allardyce.

"Not only has he been creative, he has been on the end of some really good moves. The accuracy of his finishing was outstanding today but he still hasn't scored, which is quite miraculous.

"All the players showed what they can do and certainly Stephen Warnock is the driving force for us at the moment. He is driving everyone on with his performances and all the lads are responding to it at the moment. "
