Warnock pleased with QPR transfers meeting

QPR boss Neil Warnock was pleased with his transfers meeting yesterday.

QPR hope to make three to four new signings with two of them arriving on loan and Warnock is targeting hungry, young players determined to make a name for themselves.

"I'll be looking at loan players - probably people trying establish themselves at their own club," he said.

"We can give a bit of experience at Premier League level that they might not get at their own clubs because at the top six or seven it is very difficult for young players to play.

"The players you've got to look for are players you think you can be of benefit to them and of benefit to their club.

"And if the club thinks they are benefiting, then it's an ideal scenario.

"What's helped us is that we had Kyle Walker from Tottenham and I believe we made him the player he is today.

"We gave him the platform, the confidence and the experience. And he went on and on from there.

"There are probably four or five players at the top clubs who we may be able to get.

"If we can get one or even two of those I'd be delighted. We've just got to wheel and deal."
