QPR boss Neil Warnock is frustrated at the ongoing transfer saga regarding Darren Ambrose. The Rangers boss thought he had agreed a deal for the Crystal Palace midfielder and was set to bring him to Loftus Road.
However, the new owners at Palace feel they now have every right to demand a higher fee for Ambrose - who was a revelation for the club last season.
Warnock, though, has been left fuming by the actions of his former employers and insists he will not be budging from the fee he has already had accepted.
"Palace's new consortium think he's worth more," said the irate coach.
"We're talking £750,000 and add ons up to £1m. I won't be going any higher than that.
"Darren, I'm sure, will be disappointed if he doesn't come."
