Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse has hailed the arrival of striker Charlie Austin at St Mary's Stadium.
Ward-Prowse, who scored a brace in the Saints' 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, claims that the 26-year-old striker has a lot to offer the south coast club following his £4million move from QPR.
"It's great, I think it's very exciting," said the midfielder.
"He's got a great record, and overall he's a top striker.
"I think he can offer a lot to the team, he's very exciting, adds competition for places as well and I'm sure he'll be itching to play."
